WHAT IS A CSA?

CSA is an acronym for community supported agriculture/ community shared agriculture. CSA’s are a great way to enjoy local produce and support your local farmers. You purchase a “share” of the crops grown on the farm and pick up your share once a week. Your purchase of a share in the beginning of the season helps support the farm by providing the capital necessary to invest in seeds, supplies, planning, preparing and growing the produce that will be offered in the CSA.
